The Regular Style, (Standard Rolled-Corner Type), and the Boxed Eave Style, (or A-Frame Type), both come standard with the Horizontal Roof Design. The Boxed Eave Style can also be built with the Vertical Roof Design. Each style can be constructed with either the 14 Gauge or 12 Gauge Frame. The ridges of the steel panels on a Horizontal Roof design run parallel to the sides of the carport . On a Vertical Roof Design, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport to the sides.
The Box Eave Style, (The A-Frame Type), Triple Wide Metal Carport with the 29 Gauge Vertical Steel Roof Design, the ridges of the roof panels run from the top of the carport to the sides, and has “Purlins”, (an additional frame running lengthwise). This roof configuration displaces water, snow, etc., much more efficiently and water will not pond on the roof. We strongly recommend this Design on all structures over 31 Ft. long.
The Regular Style Triple Wide Carport, (Standard Rolled-Corner Type), the Carport comes with the Standard Horizontal Roof. The Roof Panels run parallel to the side of the carport. Eagle strongly recommends the Vertical Roof Design on all structures over 31 Ft. long.
